Microsoft Customers Turn to Appointment-Plus for Online Scheduling Software Needs
Appointment-Plus Reinforces Its Leadership Position in the Web-Based Scheduling Software Industry with Infusion of Microsoft Customers.
Scottsdale, Arizona, August 8, 2007 – Arizona-based software developer Appointment-Plus continues to expand its leadership position in the online scheduling software industry. In addition to the explosive growth the company has experienced over the last year, in June, 2007, Microsoft announced that it was referring all of its online scheduling system clients to Appointment-Plus for their continued web-based scheduling needs.
Online scheduling software allows the customers of businesses and organizations to schedule their own appointments and reservations via the Internet. The web-based scheduling system connects businesses to their customers without the need for devoting costly human resources to the scheduling process. The Appointment-Plus system sends automatic email reminders, tracks appointment histories, allows a wide-variety of reporting functions and has hundreds of other features. Appointment-Plus requires no software installation and can serve entire businesses for as low as $39 per month.
With its ability to be customized to fit virtually any scheduling application, Appointment-Plus was a natural fit for Microsoft’s Appointment Manager customers who come from a wide range of industries. Appointment-Plus already served business and organizations from over 50 industries. “We are confident that Microsoft customers will see increased functionality and flexibility with the Appointment-Plus system while maintaining very low client cost,” said Robert La Loggia, Appointment-Plus President.
To ease the transition from the Microsoft Appointment Manager system to the Appointment-Plus system, Appointment-Plus assigned a dedicated team of transition specialists to assist each Microsoft customer. Appointment-Plus transition team members familiar with the common transition issues created a seamless transition process for Microsoft’s customers. “We worked diligently with Microsoft customers to ensure that their online scheduling systems were transferred over to Appointment-Plus and there was no down time for scheduling,” said Michael Connelly, Appointment-Plus Transition Team Leader.
